While we girls were hanging out, being pampered, eating yummy food, and wrangling children, the men headed off to the wild wilderness better known as Alaska.
The scenery was beautiful and they had a lot of fun fishing for halibut out on the ocean.
One of the highlights of the trip had to be the bear sightings on the river. (Now if it would have been me up there, I would have been terrified and probably crying at this point. . .bears are fine at the zoo or from a long distance while I am sitting in a car. But the men were thrilled that they got this close to these giant animals that could rip you to shreds if they were in the mood. . .go figure!)
Mike got quite a few good pictures of the bears fishing.
The pictures are so pretty and green. The men had a great time up there.
There are still many more pictures to come as "picture swaps" between all the guys takes place. Mike also could probably give better description of the pictures because he can spout off fun facts about the bears. . .and
because he was actually there during the picture taking. Currently he is horseback riding outside of Challis, Idaho and is not available for commentary. So I am sure once he gets back, and the other pictures are obtained from the other brothers, there will be many more stories told about the male bonding trip to Alaska.
